9th Annual EukonGroup/AT&T Golf Classic

La Quinta, California -- PGA West is the location of the 9th Annual AT&T/EukonGroup Boy Scouts of America Golf Classic on May 7, 2007. Benefitting the Boy Scouts of American Orange County Council, this sold out event will bring in nearly $500 thousand in proceeds this year, according to Anais Chavez, who is coordinating the event for the Boy Scouts.

"This is the first year that AT&T has shared the sponsorship of this event, and with EukonGroup's generous contribution, we will exceed our previous years' proceeds," according to Ms. Chavez.

"This annual event has truly been a classic in every sense of the word," according to Jeff Jacobs, founder of EukonGroup and co-sponsor of the event. "The golf classic has sold out every year since the early days when Pacific Bell Wireless initiated this event to benefit Boy Scouts of America. The evolution of PBW through Cingular and now the Net at&t, this event has brought wide ranging support from vendors and employees alike" according to Jacobs. "We are honored to be able to provide support for this very worthy cause, and this event which is so much a part of the culture in the Los Angeles Market."

Prior to founding EukonGroup, Mr. Jacobs served as Construction Manager for the Los Angeles Market, one of the largest cellular markets in the Nation. From 1995 through 2004, Mr. Jacobs was directly involved in the planning, design and deployment of over 3500 cell sites. Over the past two years, EukonGroup Wireless Telecom Services has provided services on nearly 1000 additional sites for Cingular/AT&T as well as other wireless carriers.
